Lexa

Hello. My name is Lexa. I am a dog trainer from Russia. In 2007, I graduated from college where I studied anatomy, veterinary physiology and various methods of dog training, including special training such as finding and detecting drugs and explosives, for 4 years. Find the person following the trail of his arrest. Additional courses include dog guard – which teaches dogs to guard house, car(s) and child(ren). I am proficient in various methods of correcting the behavior of dogs. I can correct aggression, insecurity in dogs and hyperactivity. Throughout my professional career, I have never stopped studying the psychology of dogs and new methods of training.
Schelby

I have been working with animals on behavior modification and basic obedience /command training for the past 10 years. In 2011 I started at Stone Mountain Farmyard training the goats, sheep and pigs. Not counting my experience growing up in which I worked in kennels and veterinary hospitals as well as having a slew of different animals in my home to practice on and build my passion. I also have 6 years experience as a veterinarian technician starting in 2013 where I also worked with the animals and owners on basic obedience, and behavior modification as well as general animal health education. I am also CCPDT certified. Frogs to Dogs has allowed me an avenue to channel my diverse background into a positive change for our clients.
Bonita

Hi, I’m Bonita. I am a Certified Dog Trainer with PetSmart and Petco since 2007. As a little girl I would read books and practice on my friends dogs as well as my own. It wasn’t until my daughter passed, at age 8, that I ever thought about making a career of caring for dogs. So after 20+ years in the Optical field I started my very successful Pet Sitting and Dog Walking company in 2000. I have 3 years experience as a Veterinary technician. Caring for and training dogs has truly been a joy not a job for me! I have trained deaf dogs as well as humans with physical and mental challenges. Through positive reinforcement anything can be accomplished. I believe my background in Childhood Psychology along with my natural ability to communicate with animals has allowed me to be as successful as I am today. I am very grateful for the gift I have and being allowed to share with pet parents the life changing experience obedience training makes. Our lives are so much more enriched when we can effectively communicate with our four legged, wet nose, fluffy partners in life.
Caren

My name is Caren. Training dogs is just one of the many ways I’ve found to fill my world with animals. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Communication, Education and Interpretation. Does that make me a Dog Mumbler? I am a CPDT, foster rescues, board, Board and Train, and am also a certified professional groomer. In 20+ years of my career, I have trained over 200 species, including a variety of birds, both birds of prey as well as pets, pigs, porcupines, rats and even a Tamandua. You learn as much about yourself as you do about them with such significant interaction. I have found that I have a soft spot for the pups that struggle to adjust to our busy world. Shy, anxious, frustrated, over exuberant, even aggressive. I love helping them, and their pet parents learn what they need, and how to provide it so that they are more calm, confident, and set up for success!
Zsolt

While attending the University of Horticulture in my home town of Budapest, Hungary, I studied plant cultivation and animal behavior. As a result of my studies, I became heavily involved with animal rescue work and behavioral training. When I came to the U.S. over 20 years ago I continued my work with animals and I completed my animal behavior certification, which incorporated many different training techniques. My preferred training specialty is in non-confrontational methods and I have experienced great success for many years with that methodology. I am committed to loving all animals and educating all humans through positive reinforcement and gentle handling.
Mitchell

I’m Mitchell! I’m from Honduras, Central America. I was adopted at a very young age and have been in Georgia ever since. My partner and I currently reside in West Midtown. I grew up with dogs and a stray cat here and there. We have 3 fur-babies; their names are LILO, Gracie, and Charlie. A Schnoodle, rescued Pit, and Corgi! I also have a few fish and a turtle named Arnold.
When I’m not at Frogs to Dogs I work full time for a doggie daycare. I’m experienced in working with small, medium and big dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs. I am confident working with all temperaments. I can also administer medication as needed.
I would love to spend time with your furry family members, I know it’s hard being away from them so I am pleased to send updates and pictures. I love to be outside and love dogs so I get the best of both worlds working for Frogs to Dogs! I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Kelso

Hello fellow animal lovers. My name is Kelsey but you can call me Kelso if you’d like. My love of animals started very young when our sweet beagle, Bogart would snuggle up to me as an infant up in chilly Michigan. My parents were always shocked at how intuitive I was about how to approach and touch animals even from a young age. I came to be known as a bit of a cat whisperer to the neighborhood kids because even the most shy cats would come love on me. My family always had at least one dog in the house growing up and we also had other animals like fish and guinea pigs. My parents started me out petsitting very young, taking care of our neighbors pets whenever they’d go out of town. In my adult life, I have continued pet sitting and my love for animals. I’ve fostered pets from cats to guinea pigs. I even shared over half my bedroom with 4 guinea pigs at one point because their mama could no longer take care of them. I currently live in Reynoldstown with my sweet kitty, Braedyn, and my human pet, I mean partner, Matt.
Leena

Hey there! I’m Leena and I’ve been a Georgia-resident practically all my life and have been in Atlanta for about 8 years. I’ve always had a love for animals and have been somewhat of a whisperer for the furry variety. Although I’ve haven’t a dog or cat of my own as a child, I’ve always been around them and have been the go-to sitter amongst family and friends. Now that I have a high energy rescue Pit Lab pup of my own, I understand that having your beloved pets in the hands of a capable person would love and care for them is paramount. As a dog mom to Dio, I constantly look to ways to giving him the best life I can. So its important to me to provide the same attention and care that you would give to your loves. And I would be more than happy to share as many photos as you like while they are in my care.
I’m excited to be a part of the Frogs to Dogs team and I look forward to meeting your babies!
Thomas

Hi all. I’m Dad to an 11 year old son, and 4 rescues; 2 dogs, and 2 cats. The story goes that the day I was born our family cat showed up. And ever since, I’ve been living with, and loving animals. I have lived and owned a home in East Atlanta Village for 25 years, and, also own a small dessert catering business. I am Mr. Mom most days, while my wife graciously works hard to keep the family insurance. Obviously, trusting your beloved pet with someone is a pretty big deal. So hopefully, you will trust me with yours.
Cameron

My love for animals stems from a childhood obsession with guinea pigs. I grew up with guinea pigs and kitties and spent my summers as a kid grooming and riding horses. As a teenager I worked at my local Petco where I learned the basics of doggie nutrition and fell in love with a sweet ferret named Mel. I attended college at Appalachian State University where I studied Sustainable Development. My two loves are food and critters and protecting our environment helps create world in which healthy plants and happy animals can thrive. The last three and a half years I have worked in kennels in Atlanta supervising large groups of dogs at play. This experience taught me a great deal about canine body language. Outside of work, I spent my time raising a litter of nine bouncing baby bunnies. Currently, I live in Grant Park with my now very large bunny boy named Tito and a sweet kitty named Kitty! I am very excited to be a part of the Frogs team and cannot wait to meet your pets!
Robyn & Natalia

Hi, I’m Robyn. My partner Natalia and I work as a team. I grew up having dogs, cats, ponies, parrots, geese, iguanas, fish and a squirrel. When I’m not doing that, I am working on sets as a makeup artist and Natalia is pouring the best coffee in town. Life is pretty good.
Nico

Hi my name is Nico! I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid and I love all kinds of animals. I have taken care of dogs, cats, snakes, rats, etc. I’m a very active person and detail oriented, and really easy to talk to. I look forward to making my time taking care of your baby animals special!
Sarah

I am a fine, freelance artist and retired painting instructor of 25 years. In 1998, I began petsitting for friends and friends of friends. My three girls, cats, Amanda, Camille and Zuzu were my children for fourteen years before passing away in 2007. I now have a 12 year old beautiful tuxedo cat named Falete. And I love my clients’ sweet, sweet animals as if they were my own. I began working for Frogs to Dogs in November 2010 and love getting to know such like-minded animal lovers. One of my favorite things to do while taking care of your animals, aside from my job, is to photograph them and keep you in touch with what they are doing while you’re away.
Shannon

Hi there! I’m actually Frogs to Dogs’ publicist, but I double as a pet sitter, too. I run a boutique agency called Cover Media that promotes arts organizations, non-profits and small, locally owned businesses. But you probably want to know about the critters:) I started doing overnight sitting about five years ago to help out a pet sitter friend of mine. Like all the sitters at Frogs to Dogs, I adore animals and have since I was a child. When I was younger, I often dreamed of living in a cool camper in the middle of nowhere with my menagerie. I’ve nursed the ill and elderly (ages 17+) canines and felines, helped potty train the wee ones and even hand fed a too-cute tiny turtle. I think Frogs to Dogs does great work and I’m delighted to be one of their sitters!
Dinah

I guess you could say I am a country girl living in the city. Growing up in coastal NC my favorite playgrounds were the beach and my grandfather’s farm. An instinctive connection to animals came quite naturally to me. I have 10 years of pet-sitting experience, with a background in animal nutrition, wholistic wellness, and behavior guidance. I love helping people form a stronger bond with their pets through a deeper understanding of their needs. I look forward to meeting you and your special family of pets.
Angie

Hi I’m Angie and I have lived in the Decatur area since 2005. My husband and I have two upper elementary school boys who keep us on the move. With the boys in school, that affords me the time to look after your adorable dogs. Our most recent dog was a rescue Chow mix, Bernie. He
lived to be 15 years old and was one the best dogs you could ever ask for. Over the course of my childhood, I had two Shetland Sheepdogs and a Labrador Retriever. I have always been a lover of dogs. I’m super excited to get to meet your furry friends and will enjoy having the opportunity to take care of them and to give them lots of love and attention. I live a very active
lifestyle, so taking them on long walks will be a pleasure. I am very attentive to details and will strive to exceed all of your pet’s needs. I look forward to meeting you and your precious pups!
Kasia

Hi… My name is Kasia. I have been working with other people’s pets since I was thirteen. My whole family works with pets in one way or another. I really enjoy the energy of pets and sharing my training skills and exuberance with them. I adore both dogs and cats. When I walk and train with your dogs I put all my energy and attention on them. I specialize in reactive dogs.

Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda. I live in midtown Atlanta but grew up on a farm in West Virginia. I love animals and have a 2 year old tabby cat named Lola. We don’t have enough space for a dog, so pet sitting is the next best thing. I would be more than happy to hang out with your pet!
Jayla

Hi My name is Jayla, I am originally from Los Angeles, California. My family moved to Atlanta when I was about 13 years old. We started a family business working with horses. Training both people to ride and breaking/ training horses as well. That is what sparked my interest in training. I did that until I went to college, about 7 years later. While studying psychology and human services, I worked at a local shelter rehabilitating the most challenged dogs and cats getting them to a place of adoptability. With great success and my degree in tow, I went on to manage another shelter where my focus was leading the team in animal rehabilitation and training. Today, I am a trainer with Frogs to Dogs, where I have taught obedience group classes, worked in the day camps, as well as private sessions with pet owners. My goal in this industry is to promote harmonious relationships between dog and dog owner. To teach dog owners how to communicate with their pets and to increase their pets overall quality of life.
Jennifer

Hi! I’m Jennifer and animals have been my passion since the day I could walk and talk. I was born in West Covina, California where my godmother gifted me my first dog at 1 years old and I haven’t been without a furry companion since. I moved to Georgia as a child where my passion flourished soon after getting my chihuahua 2007 she was my best friend then I got my mastiff in 2019 and I then entered the animal hospital world. I ran the boarding and grooming kennels at my old hospital as the Head Kennel Technician while I worked my way up to become a Veterinarian Technician. I shortly started running their new doggy daycare and soon after that reading dog behavior became an obsession, I decided to pursue my dreams and train dogs! I enrolled into Animal Behavior College and I started helping out at a dog shelter where I really began to find my passion in the dog world. I began working there and helping these dogs find their furever homes and training them for a better chance of staying in those homes. I graduated Animal Behavior College and found Frog’s to Dog’s where making dreams came true by helping family’s and dogs come together!

Elijah

My childhood pets gave me a sense of community I wish to share with others. All of my pets have taught me that the key to training is using unique methods and patience. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts and when I turned 10 I moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. There I lived and learned the native language, Dutch, and also found my love for dogs. The childhood pets I had taught me so much during my time in Amsterdam. After moving to Atlanta, GA I adopted my German Shepard named Cairo. His training is centered on fun and joy. The greatest tool that I have learned on my journey with dogs is having patience and having fun. I’m looking forward to passing my knowledge onto your furbabies.
Rebekah

Hi! My name is Rebekah. I am from SW Atlanta. I have had pets pretty much my whole life. I am currently a cat and snake mom. I love all animals.
